i feel dangerous…

for the first time in a long time…i’m not depressed, not hyperventilating, not sulking or whining or wallowing in self pity…

i’m mad.

vexed.

OUTRAGED.

at everything. 

i’m hardly angry, and when i am, i handle it well…better. rationally.

i’m just violent now. restless. it’s the teenage anger targeted at myself that i thought i had grown out of. 

i need to hit myself.

pierce myself.

burn myself.

cut myself.

again

i’m disgusted.

i can’t get out of the holiday mood!

ahhh, but how i loved the trip we made to Edinburgh. Kinda happy we went when we did because the weather was spectacular. We covered ALL the touristy sites in the 2 full days we were there…so least to say, we were POOPED when we got back. i even brought back vegetarian haggis! (^-^); not really made for the vegetarian if you really asked me…it’s SO meaty it’s kinda ridiculous it’s marketed FOR vegetarians. but but but! for anyone who has not had a potato scone…you’ve GOT to try it…its rather simple to make with just flour, potatoes, butter and a little salt.

in conclusion…

i really wanna LIVE there! i could picture myself living there~! it’s absolutely stunning, the people more then the cityscape!!!

and, when we got back, the landlord we abandoned in liverpool gave us goodies!  honeyed carrot cake slices…which the boys couldn’t stand! lol, so i almost polished off the box in 3 days before Jo made it back..ah well, must share lar…however little is left *eyes the box*

ummmm, anyhoo, it’s almost 3 in the morning and i’ve only got 300 words the whole of today. not good…not good at all.

the living room everyone wants. 

ahhhh~ we can dream can’t we?

anyhoo, andy volunteered to drive us to ikea yesterday (^-^)b for lightbulbs (which we didn’t find) and jam (which we did)! we ended up with a toilet seat as well…lol!

it was a good day…haix, but there’s always trouble in paradise lar…pissing sia…would be telling the biggest lie if i said i wasn’t. honestly lar…GRRRR! OK, FORGET ABOUT IT…

so, it was apparently a very eventful night, but i missed it because i was napping. good thing i did to a certain extent because i would have been even more pissed. but long story…not worth elaborating because recounting it will only make my hair grow whiter. 

nonetheless, we still made a trip down to the fish market at the crack of dawn in old swan to well… get some fish.

i’m absolutely in love~ i think it’s wild salmon leh. (^-^); bad simmie…BUT IT’S AMAZING!

none of that tesco crap (and it’s even cheaper! just inconvenient to get to) 2.5~kg of unadulterated omega 3 fats…its absolutely beautiful and is marbled! come on~ what supermarket salmon is marbled? only chore was scaling it~

first thing i did was pan fry the salmon on it’s own…it didn’t need anything! so i volunteered to do dinner (^-^);

Rice (which i timed wrongly and was a bittttt soggy)

a kilo of teriyaki salmon

kinshi tamago

blanched spinach with dashi and soy sauce, topped with bonito flakes

(white) miso soup with fish cake

everything was ok, except for the rice which was a disaster! xD sorry lar, jen was supposed to help, but the poor girl had to do something she hasn’t done in awhile….SLEEP! 

oh oh oh oh! Jen made carrot cake (at midnight?) !!!!! it’s mind blowingly amazing! it’s been more then a year since she made it lar! (^-^)b it was gone too fast for me to get a picture of it…but, hell, i’m going to pester her to make more soon.

and one more update~~~

i’ve chopped off the hair! (^________^) been waiting FOREVER to do this…it was a well spent 30quid…it’s a lopsided bob-ish cut that the housemates are comparing to victoria beckham…m(_ _)m the hell. 

shoo! i love challenging hair stylists~ with my strange egg-shaped head and thick THICK hair…xD the previous one in singapore had shaved a whole row of my hair away to make it thin and natural looking. (^-^); this time, the lady was so apologetic (like she was doing it for my own good), but i had told her it was ok~

anyhoo, off to do work…i’m never going to get stuff done on time! *panics*

tonight, the house took a trip down memory lane…japanese style…xD

chage and aska? i honestly havent heard of them and save for the chorus of that one popular song, i was absolutely clueless~! 

ah well, watched japanese tv (NHK world) all night in the living room…browsed youtube for music videos after this japanese music request show which was entirely in english (j-melos?) strange~ but they had recent music with stuff by fukuhara miho (^-^)b i like her~

sushiiiiiii! there was a short programme on sushi!!! *drools* we waited for the cooking show to come on…they only cooked chirashi zushi, but that was enough to spur both andy and fend into action…hahahaha! we made usuyaki tamago and had a slicing competition to see who could make the thinnest kinshi tamago that’s used in chirashi zushi…

I WONNNNNNNNNNNN! hahahaha, it was more like hair then egg if you ask me… chiffonade~ how i hated having to practice it over and over again with chef breathing down my neck…well, it came to good use tonight…(^____^)v

and nope, no pictures m(_ _)m no mobile phones on hand that had memory for using~ ah well…fun times~

tomorrow, we’re planning to head to ikea~~~ since andy’s renting a car, i’m going to try my luck at getting some cloudberry jam in the ikea just outside liverpool (only leeds has it apparently T-T) jen’s getting a lamp and i don’t know what the guys plan to do there…swedish meatballs? heeeeeeeeeeee (^-^)/

got ZERO work done tonight again, but i’m doing it right now…will finish this chapter before i hit the sack…

well, not quite your traditional idea of a bedtime story.

but if i read it and it puts me to sleep, it’s a bedtime story and a brilliantly effective one at that.

i want to go shoppingggggg! more importantly, i want the funds to go  shopping with!!!! retail therapy needed terribly…worse thing is, i found a brand here that’s absolutely fantastic~! why? cause i even like the dresses! holy crap! but it’s anything but cheap (T_T) *shakes fist*
