Green & Black’s Organic Raisin and Hazelnut Chocolate (41%)

delicious~ it’s really creamy and unlike most raisin choco i’ve had (not particularly my fave, so mnnn =_= ) it wasn’t sickeningly sweet and actually has a good texture to it with the gummy raisin and crunchy nut. (^-^)b

Green & Black’s Organic White Chocolate (30% but really, it’s technically not even chocolate)

freckled with those itty bitty vanilla beans, this choco is absolutely brilliant! never really liked white choco before coming to the UK because it tasted like chalk to me. But now, after a party game that involved this choco, mittens, culery and a whole bunch of crazy students destressing…i really love white choco! (in moderation though) it’s smooth and the vanilla in this packs a real punch at the end too~

Green & Black’s Dark Chocolate (70%)

“Made with the finest Trinitario cocoa beans for an intense taste”

they weren’t kidding…

i very VERY muchly prefer the mildness of the Criollo bean so…yeah, learning to step it up and get used to this more ‘intense’ flavour…still, it’s got a beautiful colour with amazing sharp flavours.

AND and a bonus~! (hehehe, couldn’t help myself from getting one more bar that day~) Montezuma’s Organic Dark Chocolate infused with Orange & Geranium.

seriously.

geranium + orange in chocolate…SPECTACULAR! the chocolate’s got a lovely colour and is so so smooth. the flavours are so delicate and it just melts in your mouth at first bite~ the dark chocolate only kicks a bittttt later and even then, it’s very tame.

that’s all the choco i’d gotten on a mini splurge in town~ looking forward to my next mini splurge already! xD question is…what should i go for?! @.@

kinda yummy really~ it’s really really VERY sweet for dark chocolate but the crunchy texture from the cacao nibs inside is wonderful!!

when last at hotel chocolat in Manchester (a wee while back actually) they were giving out free choco to taste. and here it is~ i think it’s their house blend of milk chocolate. it was really rich, creamy with that lovely tinge of bitter sweet chocolate-y taste just at the end. 

 

 

the packaging was totally no frills (as far as a chocolate shop would go i suppose) but the design of the wrapping is lovely don’t you think? the guy who was kind enough to recommend choco for the people i was getting them for (who appeared to have been the manager! xD ) also sneaked me more of this choco to bring home and enjoy.

been awhile…

my last meal in singapore was….ice cream…

lol, of all things to be eating at 10pm at night…ahhh, it was nice…haven’t really thanked you guys for being there (^-^)/ haha, must remember i owe gong 2$ for the sundae still~

in the end, we were so rushed for time (yeah, forgot i had a plane to catch…hahaha, we can still happily plan things for next time some more xD) we didn’t get a group shot!

anyhoo, in the middle of the flight, suddenly feel like snacking because i didn’t quite eat anything they served (too much of the same tasting curries)…so~! the parting gifts came in handy…lol, rach’s mini mint choco and vickie’s lemon soft bites…nice larh! only got time to take photo of one…the train was pulling in as i reach to get the other lemon bites bottle..(^-^);

so anyhoo…its been a week since i’ve been back and i’ve just been too busy to do anything…its bloody frustrating…

the week i got back was spent cleaning the house and my room, doing all the last minute groceries and settling in…meeting people~ it’s been ages since i’ve seen sonia, ages more before i will again too…then arthur’s moving to bristol o(>.<)o so the minutes i landed, i had to keep myself awake to go out with them…

then the freshers started coming in in waves…and before i knew it, the week was over and work started…i swear i was still jet lagged on monday larh…

then day in day out work from 9-5…normal hours lar, but…job’s no fun larh…feel drained everyday…come home no mood to do anything…make dinner and go back to my room to (sulk and) catch up on my reading/accounts/postgrad hunting….

shoot me…just shoot me now…

on top of everything, the stress of income tax and constantly dividing all the cost in the house is just…just…grrrrrr

nvm…nvm…

smile, damnit!

read for leisure also no time…its been a week and i’m still up to page 13 of my book…crap larh…

hahaha, this was what i found…cause 25p is all i have left this week cause i got tickets to see “funeral for a friend” in december (^-^)b, and lent my friend £10…yeahhhh…

thank god i’m done with grocery shopping hahaha…if not, damn sad lar…i realise i only spend £5 a week on groceries and that’s for ALL my meals…breakfast, lunch and dinner…lol..

anyhoo, i woke up late again today…been so tired lately…BUT, i still got to lecture on time..yay for me usually waking up 3 hours before class to get ready…even though i live 3 streets away from my furthest lecture…1 is the closest…hehehe

sad…but this was the first meal i had with meat since i got here…from last week…^-^; i tend to upload all my pictures at the same time…was gooddddd, i think they used mature cheese cause it was *chokes* VERY thick…but other then that…(^-^)b

going further back in time (can tell i only upload my pictures once every 2 weeks? hahahaha) this was from cheshire oaks…i had got this for my sis…cause it was DAMNNNNNNNNN good…and DAMNNNNNNNNNN cheap…it was 99p…but when i got home…i realised it expires the following day…

so…ehehehe, i ate it…but cause i think it’s fresh choco…it started tasting odd after awhile…

then there’s this…from last when arh…friday i think…while waiting for rekha, i went to get breakfast…OMG, this was good!
