well, it was for 3 other people though…not so much mine xD
anyhoo, most of the remaining singsoc members had met for lunch yesterday (the first)…it was my not-so-secret-yet-surprising birthday dim sum lunch at TaiPan…it was raining so much sia…so we called delta for cabs…
got there and for the first time, realised that there was a supermarket at the bottom of the restaurant…a chinese one that sells a slightly different variation of products…butttt similar at the same time…^-^;
went up to meet sonia who had been on time and was in a queue ^-^; (the rest of us were late)…omg, i almost died when i heard the current number was 210 and ours was 387…lol…thank the lords it wasn’t in sequence, because we were seated within 10~15mins?
picked up the dim sum from the waiters who were walking around with trolleys of it, and after dessert…they played the 3rd ‘happy birthday’ song that day and we smelled fire lar…O.o heart stop sia…and because it was the 3rd, i didn’t realise it was mine till ko zaw said, “and this time it’s yours”
wah laooooo…shock sia…lol…i think i mentally crawled under the table and hid there until the song finished playing…
belgium choco cheese cake!!!!! which they somehow sneaked from under my nose lar (someone was holding it rightttttttt in front of me the whole time when we had met up…) i swear i’m the most unobservant person in the world sia…
then, after lunch, we went down to the supermarket again in search of kaya…there’s kaya here! odd colouration (lol) but there is kaya!!! £2.20 a bottle, but still~ there’s kaya! lol, the aeroboy’s weekly pilgrimage when santo was still here…xD
then, uncle fendrick called! hahaha, we all miss him sia…called to check and remind us to move today…^-^;;; are we so forgetful?? hahaha…then, since jen was talking to him when the taxi came, my phone went with her, joanne and sonia…^-^; feels odd not to have my phone on me…T-T it’s been years and i still love it…
anyhoo, grabbed the cab back and began to help joanne with the back-breaking move…

back and forth and back and forth and back and forth…i swear i died…i came back, sat down for abit and barely had enough time to ask Manvela how her visit to thornby had been before both ko zaw and dunil suddenly came to move the “big shelf” xD it was hilarious to see their reactions when i showed them actual thing…a small, thin, can-be-carried-by-myself kinda shelf…xD jo has mistaken lar…lol, fendrick and gary had already dismantled and moved the humongous one…xD
so i threw in my violin and a couple of books to carry over…^-^; meanwhile, poor queems and arthur were struggled with joanne’s uber good quality shelf which was varnished to nicely to carry…lol..

anyhoo, got back, called vickie to wish her a MAJORRRRRRR HAPPY BIRTHDAY! (again sia, i missed another one =_= ) and got right back to work…
after joanne’s was done, we dug in to some of Gillian’s DELICIOUS Lemon Meringue Pie…*droolz* omg..heaven…
then, we left to help rekha move…after that was done, we waited around for jen to finish packing and headed over to move even more stuff!
fun sia…back breaking but fun…
when we were done, it was already 10ish…the sun was just about done setting, so we left for home to grab some cash and all before meeting up to grab a bite…felt a little bad since i was chatting to martin for abit and all of them waited at least 15minutes lar…T-T

quick chef was closed by that time, so we went to shiraz instead (just next door~~~) and the owner felt a little bad for turning us away, he gave us a bottle of Tango…damn nice lar!!! (he’s the owner of both quick chef and shiraz)
had dinner, then left to our future home to help joanne organise her room and free up boxes for queems to move this stuff…we were so braindead lar…jen and i had to do a “cupboard” enactment to help joanne visualise how her cupboards should be arranged ^.^;; lol…hilarious…
it was only 12.30ish when we were done, but we were sooooooo tired lar…i can’t find the words to describe how far gone we were…took the boxes, left to meet queems and rekha and helped him carry the empty boxes to his place…talked for awhile there again…
and when we left, lol…i managed to scare the hell out of both joanne and jen as we were leaving queem’s place…we all yelled so loud that he came running out of his room on the 2nd floor to check on us…thought i saw a shadow, but i most definitely heard a ‘tok!’ sound at the door when we were standing at the corridor…
bugger sia…
omg…it was such a long day, i just came back and slept like i never slept before…(until the sun was so bright i couldn’t get back to sleep)…till 8am…
muscle ache now…lol…and i feel like the events of yesterday took place over the course of 2 days…(THAT tired)
ahhhh…in comparison to yesterday, today was boring…lol, stayed home and read, watched a couple of movies and went out to get groceries…ahhhhh~~~~ (EDIT: ok, nvm…day ruined…=_=…nvm)
i’m gonna miss all of them over summer…but for now…i’ve gotta get ready for Finland…hee! (^-^)
arthur had to do it for however many years it took before i came along…yay!
